Meet Amber
founder of GP Pet Pros

Amber was born and raised in the Peace Country. Her career as a professional dog walker started in 2008 in Vancouver, where she spent 5 years walking dogs for Ruff Stuff Dog Services. In 2013 she returned to her roots in Alberta. In 2019 with a vast array of work experience (labor, forestry, management, safety, and driving) under her belt she gave in to her passion. Ambers desire to be around animals was strong. Her own canines were a major persuading factor in the creation of GP Pet Pros. Amber's canines at the time had a variety of behavioral & health concerns, it was always hard to find someone capable of caring for them. GP Pet Pros was the solution; a business that provided professional, peace of mind care.
In 2022, Amber added two serious guardian dogs (Central Asian Shepherd dogs) to her life. These dogs have further inspired Ambers interest in animal behavior. She believes that all animals deserve respect and a trusting relationship is critical. When not working or learning, Amber is caring for her own canines + felines, weeding the garden, hiking, eating or traveling.

All staff are trained to the highest standard. Animal care providers are certified in first aid and fear free practices. GP Pet Pros employees are highly skilled, compassionate individuals dedicated to animal health & wellness. Our team takes pride in their work and continues to learn & grow through educational requirements set forth by our employee program.

Drew is an energetic, kind guy. He enjoys endless activities such as hiking, snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing & marathon running to name a few.​
Drew is no stranger to giving back, he regularly volunteers for a number of organizations. Drew is the head coach for the Grande Prairies snowboard club and also Vice President of Alberta Snowboard Association. Drew is caring and compassionate, humans and animals alike benefit from his energy and attitude.
